How do I apply to attend the Anne Frank Inspire Academy?

We have a simple application form; you can download it here, apply online, request one through email, call and request one through regular mail, or come by and pick one up.  If your child has been accepted to AFIA, please fill out and return the registration packet to the front office.

If I apply, does that guarantee admission?

The short answer is no. As an open-enrollment charter school in Texas, we must have a 30-day "open enrollment period" where any student can apply for admission on an equal basis. If more students apply than there are student slots available (and we anticipate that this will be the case), then we will hold a lottery to determine admission.

If necessary, when will you hold the lottery?

The lottery for all applicants who have applied will be at AFIA on March 7, 2017.

How many students will be in the Anne Frank Inspire Academy?

One of our guiding principles is to keep our schools small so that everyone in the school knows everyone else. Each Inspire Academy will have 150 students.

Will you be opening additional Inspire Academies?

Absolutely! We will open additional campuses throughout Texas, the US, and the world as the interest, need, and funds arise!
